Somerset CityLoft shops now open; here's a guide to Woodward pop-ups
The holiday season has officially popped up on Woodward Avenue in downtown Detroit.
The Somerset Collection's CityLoft is among the pop-up shops to return to the west side of the 1200 block of Woodward starting today.
CityLoft will feature 14 retailers from Somerset in Troy along with about 20 local, hand-picked vendors. It will be open 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Thursdays through Saturdays through Dec. 21 (it won't be open Thanksgiving weekend).
See the list of shops that accompanies this story.
Other pop-up shops now open on the block:
- The Detroit Shoppe, featuring Detroit-specific products
- Rock Paper Scissors, a personalized stationery, paper and gift store
- The Hand Made Co., with Michigan-made products
- Spielhaus Toys, a specialty toy shop.
Those shops are open Tuesdays through Saturdays 11 a.m.-9 p.m. through Dec. 21.
The pop-up shops rejoin Moosejaw Mountaineering and Backcountry Travel Inc., which opened as a temporary store last fall and signed a long-term lease for its downtown storefront with Bedrock Real Estate Services in March. Moosejaw is open 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday; it will also be open Tuesdays beginning Dec. 3.
