Birth of the Brand
In 1946, a ground-breaking decision was made by Hans Wilsdorf, the visionary founder of the Rolex Watch Company, as he decided to create a new watch brand that offers the precision, durability and reliability of Rolex but at a more accessible price point. This monumental decision marked the birth of the TUDOR brand, a unique and striking watch collection based on technical prowess, an acute sense of style and adventurous and pioneering heritage.
Inspired by the brand's history, TUDOR continues to pay homage and respect to the iconic ranges and models that forged the way for the brand, by reinterpreting and adding to its revered collection of timepieces. The timeless design and exceptional attention to detail has led to TUDOR becoming an esteemed name in the world of luxury watches.

BLACK BAY
FIFTY - EIGHT
“NAVY BLUE”
The Black Bay Fifty-Eight “Navy Blue” gets its name from its color, of course, but also from the year 1958. This was the year in which the first TUDOR divers’ watch, waterproof to 200 meters, reference 7924 or “Big Crown”, was released. Today’s model offers a 39mm diameter case in keeping with the characteristic proportions of the 1950s. Ideal for vintage enthusiasts and those who like a more compact watch, the Black Bay Fifty-Eight “Navy Blue” carries on the long tradition of blue Tudor sport watches.
Meet the TUDOR Ambassadors

Devoted to the Classic
David Beckham wears the Black Bay Bronze, a 43 mm divers’ watch inspired by the brand’s history and fitted with the TUDOR Manufacture Caliber MT5601. He also wears the Black Bay Chrono, a COSC certified chronograph, with column-wheel manufacture caliber, drawing upon TUDOR’s diving and motorsports heritage.

Timeless Style
Lady Gaga is a global fashion icon – mindful of everything she wears. She has turned celebrity into a comprehensive art form. She intrinsically understands that each outfit conveys a powerful message and can be an art performance in its own right, where each and every accessory is key to the look. In keeping with this always bold attention to detail, Lady Gaga might wear three or four watches on one wrist. When she wears only one watch, she chooses the Black Bay 36. This automatic timepiece retains the general lines of the Black Bay collection while reducing its proportions, and remains both fashionable and sporty. Lady Gaga wears both the blue dial and the black dial versions of this model.

Drifting Through Time
Jay Chou sports the daringly hybrid Black Bay Chrono S&G, which combines aquatic heritage with the queen of the racetrack, the chronograph, resulting in a precious sporty-chic timepiece with an undeniable hint of nostalgia. As a man of taste and culture, Jay Chou also wears the TUDOR 1926, a highly refined while understated mechanical timepiece blending traditional horology aesthetics and contemporary high-performance watchmaking.
