Spark'd Permanent Bracelets by Tapper's

Spark*d permanent jewelry is a custom fit 14k chain that is welded onto your wrist or ankle. It does not have a clasp and should not require any maintenance. Although we call it a permanent jewelry, it can easily be removed with scissors if needed. The Spark*d name refers to the spark that you see when the jewelry is welded on.

Spark*D jewelry is available at Tapper’s in West Bloomfield and Tapper's Novi. Although an appointment is not required, it is highly recommended to ensure we have a jeweler on-site.

No! Although you will see a small spark when the bracelet is applied, it does not hurt.

No problem! You can cut it off with scissors at home or bring it to one of our locations for quick removal.

You can save the bracelet and get it spark*d on later.

At this time, we offer permanent bracelets and anklets (ankle bracelets). We do not offer permanent necklaces or rings.

Yes. You must be age 10 and older to get a spark*d bracelet welded on.

Yes. If you have a pacemaker, you should not have permanent jewelry welded to you.

If you are under the age of 10, or live a very active lifestyle, we encourage a bracelet with clasp for additional security.

Tapper’s will ensure the security of your welded Spark*D jewelry before you leave your appointment. While Spark*D jewelry is designed to be durable, it is not indestructible. This delicate jewelry may come off it if gets snagged, pulled, or is subjected to excessive pressure. If your Spark*D jewelry falls off, simply bring it back to us, and we will attempt to reattach it if possible. However, please note that after 48 hours from the time of receiving your Spark*D jewelry, a reattachment fee of $10 will apply. We are unable to add additional length, so if needed, you may have to purchase a new chain.

We do not provide replacements for lost or broken pieces. If your Spark*D jewelry is lost, you will need to buy a replacement. To safeguard your Spark*D jewelry, we highly recommend insuring it for a small nominal fee. For more information, please consult with a Tapper’s sales professional.
