Just like natural diamonds, lab grown diamonds are crystallized carbon. The major differences are how they are formed and how rare they are. While natural diamonds are formed over billions of years deep within the earth’s crust, lab grown diamonds are created using a technological process that duplicates the conditions inside the earth.

Lab grown diamonds consist of carbon atoms arranged in the same crystal structure as natural diamonds. Because they are made of the same material as natural diamonds, they exhibit the same physical chemical and optical properties. Using this technology, Tapper’s offers beautiful diamonds with the same sparkle and clarity as natural diamonds.

Yes, Tapper’s Jewelry and Tapper’s Gold Exchange purchase pre-owned jewelry and timepieces. The value of your item is calculated based upon fair market value.


The amount of sales tax charged on your order will depend on the item purchased and the destination of the shipment. Certain items may be exempt from sales tax, depending on state and local laws. The sales tax charged will be calculated when your order is shipped and will reflect applicable state and local taxes. Factors can sometimes change between the time you place an order and the time of credit card settlement, which could affect the calculation of sales tax.

Tapper’s accepts all major credit cards as well as Apple Pay, Google Pay, Facebook Pay, and PayPal. Your payment will be processed at the time your order is placed.

Standard shipping is free on all orders placed on If you would like expedited shipping, please select Express Shipping at check out.

Tapper’s charges a flat $30 fee for Express Shipping on items that are under $10,000. The
shipping fee for items $10,000 and over is $80. Express orders will arrive in
approximately 2-3 business days.

Tapper’s Jewelry does not currently ship orders to addresses that are outside of the United States.

Orders received prior to 3pm EST will ship within 48 hours. Unless expedited shipping is selected at time of check out your order should arrive in approximately 5 to 7 business days.

Yes, all shipped packages require a signature.


Tapper’s offers free returns by mail or at any Tapper’s location for most items.

Most items purchased from Tapper’s Jewelry are eligible for a full refund within 30 days of purchase. Personalized items and special orders (items that we do not normally stock) may not be eligible for returns. Items on clearance and certain sale items may not be eligible for return.

Items must be returned in their original condition with all supplied packaging. Timepieces may only be returned if they are unworn and returned in their original packaging, including the original box and all original documentation.

Items purchased online can be returned in-store or by emailing your order number and return reason to [email protected] and we will provide you a free shipping label.
