For more than 38 years, Tapper's has been a leading insurance replacement jeweler in the state of Michigan. Fine jewelry, diamonds, and timepieces that are lost, stolen or severely damaged can be an aggravating and emotional experience. Tapper's Associates have handled insurance replacement transactions for more than three decades, making the process seamless and stress-free. We can work with your insurance carrier to make sure you maximize the replacement value of your jewelry and assist you with replacing the merchandise. LIFETIME DIAMOND LOSS PROTECTION PLAN
At Tapper's, you can rest assured that your diamond engagement ring will always be protected. Every four months, bring your ring to Tapper's for complimentary ultrasonic cleaning and inspection, and we will guarantee your diamond against loss for as long as you own it. *
*Any diamond purchased from Tapper's is warranted against loss from its original mounting for its lifetime. The diamond must be examined every four months by an authorized Tapper's jeweler and documented by Tapper's. This warranty only covers loss of the diamond incurred through normal wear. Any other damage will nullify this warranty. Prongs must be intact and not broken or separated. Any recommended repairs must be made by Tapper's at the customer's expense. In the event of loss, Tapper's reserves the right to replace your diamond with one of equal value, limited to a maximum of $7,500. This warranty does not cover loss due to mysterious disappearance. We strongly recommend that you insure your diamond jewelry.
Shipping & Returns
Orders received prior to 3 PM EST will ship within 48 hours.
Most items purchased from Tapper's are eligible for a full refund within 30 days of purchase. Items must be returned in their original condition with all vendor-supplied materials and packaging.
If you wish to return your item using USPS, FedEx, or UPS, you must contact us for an RA#. This RA# number must be included inside of the package being returned so that we can properly credit your account. You will be emailed a prepaid shipping label for your convenience. Upon receipt and inspection of the returned merchandise, your refund will be credited back to you, with the prepaid return shipping charge deducted, using the method of payment used in the original purchase whenever possible. Certain items, however, may not be returned:
- Personalized items (ie. initial rings, name bracelets, engraved or monogrammed items).
- Special orders (items that must be ordered in a special size or items that we do not normally stock).
- Watches may only be returned if they are unworn and returned in their original packaging, with the original box and all original documentation enclosed.
Please remember to insure your merchandise return package against loss in transit. Tapper's cannot take responsibility for lost packages, or for receiving packages that are damaged while in transit.
Unless an expedited service is requested, your order should arrive in approximately 5 to 7 business days after your order has been processed, if ordered by 3 PM EST, Monday through Friday. Some over-sized items are shipped directly from the vendor; delivery and processing charges still apply.
If this service is requested, shipping charges will be added to your order during the checkout process; the rate will vary by delivery zip code and purchase amount. Your order should arrive 2 business days after it has been processed, if ordered by 12:00 noon EST. Please note: two-day orders placed Friday after 12:00 noon EST or Saturday or Sunday will be processed Monday and should arrive in 2 business days. Some heavy or bulky items may not qualify for this service. A signature may be required and additional charges may be assessed if more than one attempt is made for delivery. This service is not available for certain zip codes.
